Leila Mackay, M.A. Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Leila Mackay received her B.A. (Psych. & Human Sciences) from The University of Ottawa, and MA (Counselling and Spirituality) from St. Paul University. Leila is President of Association for Spirituality and Mental Health located at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Center.
In her practice, Leila is supervised by Dr. Karen Ogston, C. Psych. Leila & Karen provide assessment and interventions primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy among other therapy formats.
Dr. Karen M. Ogston, C.Psych.
Dr. Karen Ogston received her B.A. (Hon. Psych.) and M.A. (Psych.) from University of Calgary, and Ph. D. (Applied Educational Theory) from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ogston has worked in hospital psychology departments in Alberta and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and private practice.
In her practice, Dr. Ogston works with children, adults and families. In the past, her practice areas included developmental assessment, learning and behaviour, including: learning disabilities, giftedness, infant development and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, in addition to therapy for anxiety, depression, adjustment and behaviour difficulties.
Dr. Ogston currently provides therapy and intervention for children and adults with anxiety, depression, behavioural or developmental difficulties in addition to counselling and support for family members.
